With a combined 85yrs of experience in advertising and marketing having worked on blue-chip brands throughout the broad spectrum of the African marketing environment i.e. from FMCG to specialised services like oil and gas.

Thomas Walusimbi
Thomas founded Liveworks back in 2011 and established a niche in the market as a communication expert in the Energy field.
Thomas light shone brightly through the advertising Industry of Uganda in a career spanning over 15 years. Thomas founded Liveworks back in 2011 and established a niche in the market as a communication expert in the Energy field. He provided strategic communication advisory services and was crucial in the implementation of a wide range of campaigns for oil and gas sector clients such as Total E&P Uganda, CNOOC Uganda, Tullow Oil, Total East Africa Midstream and Uganda National Oil Company.
Thomas built up a team of like-minded communication specialists and designers to manage clients in other sectors like Finance, FMCGs, Health, Telecoms, Social marketing and Manufacturing. Prior to founding Liveworks, Thomas worked at ZK, Moringa Ogilvy where he was a part of many successful campaigns in Uganda. Thomas commanded great respect with almost every client that he interacted with. This passion was also translated to the fabric of Liveworks where collaboration and fun play a big part of everyday work.
He also carried a passion for the advertising fraternity and involved himself in the welfare of the Industry; at the time of his sudden death he was the Deputy Secretary General of the Uganda Advertisers Association.
Whoever wasn’t impacted by Thomas was yet to meet Him.
